Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage reduces congestion of lymph or swelling around an injured limb, inflammation, or pre-/post-surgical areas, etc. For example: treating a sprained ankle with Manual Lymphatic Drainage will reduce the recovery time and scar tissue by increasing range of movement and improving circulation to the joint. Presently, a major concern for people is that what they eat makes their gut inflamed. It increases congestion and swelling in the abdominal area and is often painful and uncomfortable. Lymphatic drainage can help with that. I also do a lot of lymph work on organs like the intestines, spleen and liver. Finally, many people require medical intervention( breast cancer, etc) and post-surgery they have swelling in the limbs or surgical site. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can help ease the recovery and reduce the discomfort by moving the lymphatic build up and reduce the swelling, improving circulation and healing.
If you have a condition that could be helped with Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), and would like to discuss it or book an appointment, please call/text or email Terry Lunney at Advanced Massage and Associated Therapies Ltd.
