About Terry Lunney L.C.S.P.(phys)
I’m an osteopathically trained Registered Massage Therapist(RMT) so I look at the body from both the hard tissue point of view like a Chiro as well as the balance in the soft tissues like a physiotherapist. I’ve been a 2200hr Registered Massage Therapist for over 30 years and in that time, I have performed over 60,000 hours of treatment. If you have coverage for massage therapy under your insurance plan, they will recognize my receipts.
I am blessed with a diverse and interesting client base that exercises every part of my education from postural rehabilitation, mobilizing the organs, releasing restrictions in the fascia and scar tissue, concussion, TMJ dysfunction, children on the spectrum of autism, birth difficulties, migraines and oedema. The youngest child I have worked on was 4 hours old; the oldest child was 104 years old!
I started studying Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger in 1988 and have taken the Advanced classes, as well as precept and perform the duties of a teaching assistant in those classes. Some of the most interesting classes I have taken are in the Bahamas working with the dolphins. They are incredible healers. The brain holds a special fascination for me, and I regularly upgrade my education in this field as classes are available. I started studying Manual Lymphatic Drainage when my own lymphatic issues became problematic, so I understand the discomfort and frustration a person suffers when the body goes beyond ‘water-retention’.
I appreciate you looking at my website, and I hope to collaborate with you in finding health and a balanced body and mind.
Thank you.
